In keeping with our philosophy, Avanti Salon is extremely active within the community. Throughout our history, the
salon and our employees have made countless donations of time, money, products, and services to worthy community projects.

Avanti Salon has raised money for the victims of the September 11th tragedy and The Littlest Heroes, a local organization helping children with cancer and their families. We have also donated, along with the help of many clients, hundreds of gifts during the holiday season to the children of Beech Brook, a foster care facility for unfortunate children. Avanti also strongly supports Women Safe, a shelter for abused women and children. We have developed a strong relationship with schools in the community with our career shadowing program for high school students. Avanti Salon is a small business with a big heart, and we have taken a leadership role when it comes to helping our community.

Avanti Salon is a member of The Salon Association, an international salon organization that helps to make the industry more respected through educating owners on how to make business better. Salon owners, Tony and Marisa Paterniti, are also members of the Chesterland Chamber of Commerce as well as COSE, the Council of Smaller Enterprises. Marisa, a Mayfield School for Cosmetology graduate, currently serves on the advisory board of her alma mater.
